Attention NGOs, foundations, think tanks, social entrepreneurs, and business leaders:
In response to the accelerating impact of Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation, I have decided to make the domains human-scale.com and menschliches-mass.com available for acquisition.
Both domains embody an idea that is likely to become increasingly important in the coming decades: ensuring that technological, economic, and social development remains compatible with the needs, capacities, and dignity of human beings.
The concepts of “Human Scale” and “Small is Beautiful” were developed and popularized during the twentieth century by thinkers such as Leopold Kohr and E. F. Schumacher. Their ideas inspired, among other initiatives, the founding of the Schumacher College in Dartington (England) in 1990 and the Leopold Kohr Academy in Salzburg Province (Austria) in 1986.
As a long-standing member and co-founder of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Leopold Kohr Academy, I have published extensively on these topics and registered these domains in order to support the dissemination of these ideas.
Today, under the pressure of rapid technological change and the rise of AI, the need for a complementary human-scale perspective appears more relevant than ever.
The domains are offered for sale either individually or as a package.
According to an independent valuation by Dynadot, a well-known domain registrar and marketplace, the estimated market value of human-scale.com exceeds USD 7,000. Interested parties are invited to form their own assessment of the strategic and branding value of the domains.
Binding offers for one or both domains are invited until 15 October 2026 and may be sent to:
Offers that include a fair participation in future value creation associated with the domains would be particularly welcome, although such participation is not a precondition for a sale.
